AnimeJapan 2017 Report: Danmachi Spin-Off "Sword Oratolia" Special Stage!

Honey's Anime attended AnimeJapan 2017 held in Tokyo today (March 25th) as press, and this is one of short reports of stages we covered.

Let us introduce what had happened on stage to increase the hype on upcoming Spring 2017 anime "Sword Oratolia," which is a spin off of popular anime Danmachi!

On Stage were 6 seiyuus, 2 play a role of moderator Juri Kimura (Lefiya) and Yurika Kubo (Loki), 4 showed up as guest speakers Saori Oonishi (Aiz), Rie Murakawa (Tiona), Minami Takahashi (Tione) and Inori Minase (Hestia).

The moderators explained the story of Sword Oratolia before the seiyuus gave a quick character introduction.

A new PV was shown which gave the audience a better insight into the upcoming anime.

That the friendship between the cast members extended from screen to real life became clear when the girls played a Teamwork Posing Game. Their job was to strike a pose that they think represents Sword Oratolia best.

After laughing at their results - everyone decided to hold an imaginary sword - more information about the upcoming show were revealed, including the release of a smart phone game as well as a PC browser game release in Japan.

To top the event off, the seiyuus were visited by Yuka Iguchi, the artist performing the OP of Sword Oratolia. The young singer gave a live performance of her OP song "Re-Illusion" which was well received by the audience.

Finally, the girls gave last comments regarding Sword Oratolia and left the audience with smiles on their faces and the promise of a great upcoming fantasy adventure.
