AnimeJapan 2017 Report: My Hero Academia Special Stage!

Honey's Anime attended AnimeJapan 2017 held in Tokyo (March 26th) as press, and this is one of short reports of stages we covered.

Superheroes are invading AnimeJapan 2017, or at least they are at the special stage event of Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia). The event introduced the second season of the popular action show which will air in April 2017.

On stage appeared the entire main cast of the show, consisting of Junichi Suwabe (Shota Aizawa), Kaito Ishikawa (Tenya Iida), Ayane Sakura (Ochako Uraraka), Daiki Yamashita (Deku Midoriya), Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo), Yuki Kaji (Shoto Todoroki), Midori Yuuki (Tsuyu Asui), and Kenta Miyake (All Might) from left to right on the top image. The seiyuus took the time to reflect on the first season of My Hero Academia and shared their personal impressions with the audience.

Honey's Anime was excited to get the chance to watch an exclusive advanced streaming of the new opening sequence as well as a new PV. The OP song is performed by Kenji Yonezu and titled "Peace Sign." We'll give you some insight into the new opening sequence and introduce you the new PV below.

When it comes to the upcoming season, the cast members gave an idea of what you can expect: family, pride, blood, challenging problems, new characters and more. The second season of Boku no Hero Academia promises to be as entertaining as the last one and we cannot wait to watch it. If you haven't given it a try yet, watch the first season of Boku no Hero Academia now!
