bee-douche Attack on Titan 2nd Season - Spring 2017
I had almost forgotten about Kabaneri without trains. I wonder if it will live up to the hype of four years of waiting.

Well, when you consider that the whole staff of Shingeki no Kyojin is working on Kabaneri, it makes sense.

Synopsis

This is the 2nd Season of Attack on Titan.

The world is ruled by Titans. Humanity, the prey of the Titans, have built a giant wall that is 50 meters high. In exchange for freedom to explore the outside world, they are protected from invasion by it.

A certain ten-year-old boy has never seen the outside world. His name is Eren Yeager. Eren feels uncomfortable surrounded by people who have given up going outside of the walls for the transient peace that they are currently enjoying. Eren refers to them as livestock while they refer to him as an outsider.

However, one day that all changes when a Giant Titan appears suddenly smashing to pieces both Eren’s ‘dream’ and society’s ‘peace...’

Three Episode Impression

Ah, it is the most anticipated series of the year! Attack on Titan Season 2, or Shingeki no Kyojin for those who prefer Japanese, started off so brilliantly this season by introducing stellar characters and killing them off---Just the way that we like it. You can really see how brave everyone is up until the moment of their imminent death where human nature takes over and you can see the cowardice in them! Ah man, it’s just too good. We’ve also been given quite a lot of backstory this season for side characters that have managed to survive and win our hearts. However, as fascinating as they are, with only 12 episodes this season, what can we expect? Well, it seems like we might not expect a lot of plot progression. This last episode revealed that Ymir was a Titan and ended with her sacrifice. Yes, there are a lot of cliffhangers, much like the first season, but are fans going to get a satisfying sequel? Perhaps not. I think we can expect a third season at the rate the second season is going.
