Synopsis

Beyblade Burst follows Baruto Aoi, a somewhat silly but passionate boy in his fifth year of elementary school, and the flashy fights he gets into with Valkyrie, his favourite Beyblade.

Baruto’s best friend who he’s known since he was little, Shuu Kurenai, is a Beyblade genius who uses Spriggan. In no time, Shuu becomes known as the Beyblade Shitennou (Four-Spin Emperor) at the national championships.

Although Baruto is only a beginner, he loves Beyblade and inspired by Shuu’s success, he too decides to aim for the national championships. But to become the number one Beyblader in the world, first he must attempt the district championships!

Characters & Voice Actors List

Baruto Aoi

Voice Actor: Marina Inoue

The protagonist of the story. A cheerful and energetic young man who is positive about everything. He tends to act before he thinks. He gives off an aura that makes people smile. As soon as he meets someone he makes them feel like they’ve known each other for a long time and becomes friends with them. He’s competitive, but even if he loses he doesn’t feel down and thinks about it positively.

Rantarou Kiyama

Voice Actor: Fumihiro Okabayashi

His nickname is Kumichou (Boss.) Hates things that don’t make sense. The personification of justice. Stupidly honest. All of his expressions are exaggerated, whether it’s laughter, anger, tears, or joy. He’s violent and often misunderstood, but really he’s a simple good guy.

Kensuke Midorikawa

Voice Actor: Tsubasa Yonaga

Always has Kel and Beth, his two dog puppets, on both hands and uses them to talk. He uses Kel to say the violent things he’s thinking, and Beth to show his childish side and make jokes. He’s bad at being treated nicely by others and treating others nicely himself. He’s not very good at expressing himself.

Daina Kurogami

Voice Actor: Ayahi Takagaki

Really obsessed with winning. He’s scared of losing, so thoroughly researches his opponent and tries to thoroughly crush them. He’s actually the type to always think the worst. Loves small animals and has a doting side to him.

Wakiya Komurasaki

Voice Actor: Yuu Kobayashi

A super-confident character. In fact, he’s so confident that he doesn’t even think he himself could stop his own strength, because he practices more than anyone else. Has so much talent that he wouldn’t even lose to Shuu. He’s smart and has superior analytical skills.
