Welcome to all of the Comedy anime that are coming summer 2017! What we have done here at Honey's Anime is prepared a preview of these shows for you, the readers, and if you want to know more about the show, then be sure to check out the database page listed beneath each show. Note: The order is a ranking of the order in which we here at Honey's Anime want to watch these shows starting from the one we want to see the most at #1. There is a show that has was announced after we voted, so be sure to check it out at the bottom under special mentions as it has not been ranked.

1. Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun (Cleanliness Boy Aoyama-kun)

Aoyama-kun is a boy obsessed with cleanliness.

Aoyama-kun is a genius, good-looking soccer player who is so good, he is the representative of Japan! Even when he plays, he is "clean." A Header? No way. A Tackle? Absolutely not. What about a throw-in? Well, if he has gloves, it's okay. Is it okay to allow a player like this!?

2. Hajimete no Gal

  • Genres: Romance, Comedy
  • Air Date: July 12, 2017

Hajimete no Gal is a love comedy that begins when Junichi Hashiba, a high schooler troubled about losing his virginity, and with nothing to lose, performs a deep bow and confesses his love to Yukana, a gal in his class. Unexpectedly, the confession of love is a success, but even though she is a gal, she is chaste, and so Junichi is only manipulated by his girlfriend. The wonders and uneasiness of two opposites being together gives birth to drama.

3. Aho Girl

The first, and probably the last, girl who is a complete idiot is here! Come hell or high water, there is Yoshiko Hanabata, a high school girl who is a complete idiot. Yoshiko loves bananas and she loves her childhood friend Akkun.

4. Gamers!

  • Genres: Romance, Comedy, Game, School
  • Air Date: July 13, 2017

“Would you follow me and join the gaming club?”

Having no standout characteristics other than the fact that he really likes video games, lonely NPC-esque gamer, Keita Amano is suddenly asked one day at school the above question by the head of gaming club. The beautiful club president is named Karen Tendou. From that moment on, Keita’s everyday does an about face, and he starts to spend his days with the beautiful girls of the gaming club as this love comedy begins…. or so he thought!?

Lonely, NPC-esque female gamer Chiaki Hoshimori is the same save for how she values video games. Next up is Tasuku Uehara who is the leader of his class and has a girlfriend, but secretly loves games and is unfortunately satisfied with his real life. Aguri is Tasuku’s girlfriend whose knowledge of games is nil. She is also sucked in where there are complete misunderstandings, spinning your wheels and coming up empty, as well as continuing to stray off course, complete with low self-esteem gamers. This surely different complicated youth romcom begins.

5. Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijoushugi no Kyoushitsu e

Is this society truly equal or not? What is true “merit”?
A high-level prep school is located in Tokyo known as Koudo Ikusei Senior High School. There, it has a policy of using the latest and greatest technology and equipment to be able to boast that 100% of its graduates either advance to college or find work immediately. There, Kiyotaka Ayanokouji has just been assigned to Year 1, Class D. However, while the school does have a reputation of being the most elite out there, on the inside, the school approaches things in a laissez-faire manner. The students are given cash and value points equivalent to about 1000 USD a month for classes and their personal lifestyles. Classmates indulge in extravagant spending and self-indulgence while living their daily lives in what has to be a dream for high school life. However, they are about to learn the truth behind the system within the school and be thrown into the pits of despair.

For those who have failed, they are placed into Class D where the truth they will discover is whether the world is full of contradictions, or a true, merit-based society.

6. Teekyuu 9th Season

  • Air Date: July 12 2017

The 9th season of Teekyuu.
Teekyuu follows the side-splittingly hilarious daily lives of four girls, the members of Kameido High School tennis club who kind of play tennis - and kind of don’t. Today, tomorrow, and the day after that, whether these four are together or not you’re guaranteed to burst out laughing at this tennis anime!

7. Musekinin Galaxy Tylor

  • Genres: Comedy, Space, Adventure, Sci-fi
  • Air Date: July 4 2017

While Banjou was throwing out the trash one day, he somehow manages to save a girl named Goza 168-sei who was frozen in ice in a robot spaceship.

The two set out on a journey to revive the Galactic Republic.
