- It has been announced that sci-fi anime Eureka Seven will be getting three anime movies, titled Eureka Seven: Hi-Evolution.
- The first movie will come out in 2017, the second in 2018, and the third in 2019. Altogether, they will depict the story surrounding "The First Summer of Love" that wasn't fully explored in the anime series, which first aired 12 years ago.
