Oh bee-kun let us have this! Your idol waifus are a dime a dozen! Let the ladies have something for once!
honey's anime character
I dunno about you two, but this looks like Nijiiro Days with more characters. Plus there are so many big name seiyuu here too. I think that while this may end up being a short, it's going to be good.

I see what you mean. I almost thought of Kimi to Boku or like Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. This is going to have big shoujo tropes and elements. I already have this on my must-watch list!

Synopsis

Haruki Mishima and his best friend Touwa Honda have just entered into Aokisora High School as first year students. They each have a girl that they are interested in, but for some reason, there is no indication that feelings of romance are starting.

While living out their clumsy days, they meet their classmate Nasa Sanagi as well as their upperclassmen Natsu Asumi, Mikado Nakajima, and Masamune Sakurakouji. Slowly, their feelings and thoughts all become intertwined.

It is the road that everyone walks down once: In that moment, a tale of gentle, pure love passes through your mind.

Your everyday train.

Your everyday road to school.

Your everyday convenience store.

Your everyday scenery that never changes, could possibly, as of tomorrow, be viewed differently.

Three Episode Impression

Konbini Kareshi started off strangely and a little confusingly with a guy running to the conbini in order to meet with a girl. If you wanted to drop it right then and there, you sure are not alone. First off, how cliche is that? Anyway, if you had managed to keep on watching, you might actually be surprised by Konbini Kareshi. Konbini Kareshi is similar to the anime short, Nijiiro Days since you follow several male students and their pursuits of love. Unlike Nijiiro Days, Konbini Kareshi is not as humorous although it does have its moments. While Konbini Kareshi is not a game changing romance anime, it’s light hearted and a rather relaxing watch without being overly soft like last season’s Tsuki ga Kirei. If you want a casual romance anime to watch, Konbini Kareshi may be worth your time.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Haruki Mishima

Voice Actor: Takuma Terashima

Haruki is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is in the swimming club. When he was a little boy, he received a picture book from one girl titled “Ningyo no Ouji”. Since then he treasures the book greatly and it inspired him to take up swimming. Classmate Miharu Mashiki looks just like that girl, but Haruki and Miharu have attended the same elementary, middle, and high schools. Even now, he still has yet to confirm if she is that girl.

Miharu Mashiki

Voice Actor: Sayaka Kanda

Miharu is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is in the handcrafting club. Mature, she enjoys reading and daydreaming. Miharu met fellow classmate Mami Mihashi in the library when they found out they likes the same genres of books and became friends. Haruki used to be an acquaintance to a certain extent, but recently she has more and more chances to talk to him.

Towa Honda

Voice Actor: Kenichi Suzumura

Towa is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is in the soccer club. Since Haruki is his best friend, Towa is frequently at his house. At first glance, he looks like someone who pushes his luck and amazes Mishima, but he is pure at his core and no one can dislike him. For some reason, he is avoided by his classmate Mami Mihashi with whom his is a class rep.

Mami Mihashi

Voice Actor: Rie Kugimiya

Mami is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is Towa’s class’ head class rep. A serious honors student, she was raised in a rigid household. Even though she thinks that it does not suit her, she loves reading shoujo manga. While being confused about her fellow class rep Towa’s attitude, she can’t seem to push him away.

Mikado Nakajima

Voice Actor: Shinnousuke Tachibana

Mikado is a third-year student at Aokisora High and is the student council president. From the outside, he is the impeccable honors student. In reality, because he is responding to the expectations of those around him, he is taking on too much. Everyone around him thinks that he is dating his childhood friend and underclassmen Waka Kisaki.

Waka Kisaki

Voice Actor: Yukari Tamura

Waka is a first-year student at Aokisora High and she lives right next door to her childhood friend student council president Mikado. A graceful, beautiful young girl, she also has excellent grades. However, she is actually a tomboy and naïve, but she would never show that to Mikado. She relies on gentle Mikado and adores him as if he were her older brother.

Nasa Sanagi

Voice Actor: Yuuki Kaji

Nasa is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is in the cooking club. He is a boy who is not only good at cooking, but excels at chores like sewing and cleaning. Nozomi Itokawa is a fellow classmate and is also a member of the cooking club. He is often with Nozomi who says that his cooking is delicious while eating it.

Nozomi Itokawa

Voice Actor: Ami Koshimizu

Nozomi is a first-year student at Aokisora High and is in the cooking club. Big-hearted and bright, Nozomi is ‘coincidentally’ often putting Nasa’s food in her mouth and being moved by its deliciousness. Thinking to have more people enjoy Nasa’s cooking, she has decided to join the cooking club.

Natsu Asumi

Voice Actor: Hiroshi Kamiya

Natsu is a second-year student at Aokisora High and is in the track and field club. He loves running and earnestly trains by putting his heart into everything. This makes him the ace of the track and field club. However, as a result of him not being interested in the other members, he clashes with other team members sometimes. His abrupt manner and speech causes him to be alone frequently.

Kokono Minowa

Voice Actor: Miyuki Sawashiro

Kokono is a first-year student at Aokisora High and works in the library. Reserved, she loves reading. She is serious, so when she is working in the library, she warns those caught whispering. She watches Natsu everyday as he does nothing but practice. She is unable to call out his name or speaks to him, so she just watches him.

Masamune Sakurakouji

Voice Actor: Takahiro Sakurai

Masamune is a third-year student at Aokisora High and helps out with the student council. Masamune is the best friend of Mikado and as such, he helps out with the work of the student council. He has a rough exterior and crude way of speaking that terrifies others. When he sees Mikado overdoing it, when it comes to dealing with his hidden feelings, etc., he supports Midako.

Aki Asukai

Voice Actor: Yui Horie

Aki is a first-year student at Aokisora High. Short, she is a cute girl. She is good friends with her fellow classmate Nozomi Itokawa. She likes making sweets and has her areas where she excels. She helps out Nozomi and Nasa with their activities in the cooking club often and that is where she gets to know Miharu.
