1. Character Driven Story with Comedic Support

Sakamoto Desu Ga? and Mob Psycho 100 allow viewers to experience the lives of these very interesting fellows, who above all else, are set apart from the rest of us normal folk. Although Sakamoto can’t help being flawless at everything, Mob is resisting how he really is in order to blend in with his peers. With each scenario, the anime provides comedic relief in typically tense and awkward situations.

2. Zany, Eccentric Artistry

Whether Sakamoto is completing school chores, playing arcade games, or even drinking water at the water fountain, the aura around him while completing such tasks makes him seem so godly. 3. P P P Pokerfaced!

Sakamoto Desu Ga? and Mob Psycho 100 were both ridiculously funny in that Sakamoto and Mob are deadpanned. Regardless of the chaos around them, they appear expressionless, straight-faced and unaffected. On a more serious note, in an attempt to keep Sakamoto’s character mysterious and to close-off knowledge of Mob’s ability to others, each of their impassive facial expressions are displayed to prevent their peers from placing them in a subordinate position. Essentially, the anime is to document how awesome they are; Sakamoto and Mob are able to keep their cool about everything.
