Excellent. I am now ready to proceed with watching this. By the way, honey-chan did you know that ONE is the creator of this series?

ONE… ONE… Oh! You mean the person ONE who created One Punch Man? That explains why everyone looks just like Saitama! ONE is the creator for both series and Yusuke Murata is the illustrator! You can’t watch it yet bee-kun as it’s not July! This definitely is going to be the big show of summer 2016.

Yes. We just have to wait till July when it releases. In the meantime, Boku no Hero Academia or the whole To Aru Majutsu no Index/To Aru Kagaku no Railgun series are good, similar watches while we wait.

Synopsis

On the outside, Mob is a completely normal - or rather, completely plain young man. He can’t read the atmosphere and he’s bad at expressing himself, but he’s actually got super-strong supernatural powers!

He’s obsessed with trying to lead a normal life and suppressing his powers, but when his emotions heighten and reach the number 100, a certain something will happen to him… He’ll explode!

With fake spirit mediums, religious sects, a delinquent leader, and a mysterious organisation appearing one after the other with their sights set on his powers, will Mob, who prays for a normal teenage life, ever get a day’s peace?

Three Episode Impression

From the very beginning Mob Psycho 100 punches you in the face with eerie music, vibrant colors and quick-paced special effects. The artwork, too, doesn’t try to just be pleasing to the eye, but rather becomes its own thing with a mix of different drawing styles and techniques. Still, the combination of all these vivid elements seems to work out for Mob Psycho 100 since it ends up feeling like something we haven’t seen before (or at least not in a long time). Funny, psychedelic and in-your-face, that’s how Mob Psycho 100 can be summed up so far.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Arakata Reigen

Voice Actor: Takahiro Sakurai

Apparently has supernatural powers. Mob’s boss.
A self-proclaimed Psychic who runs a consultation center for ‘ghosts and stuff.’ However, in actuality he has absolutely no psychic powers, and is forever relying on Mob, his assistant who he employs for ¥300 ($2.50) an hour. Occasionally displays surprisingly sharp powers of perception.
