Ryuuto, a young man who lives in the Rider’s village of Hakumu, dreams of becoming the world’s best Rider. When he turns 12 years old, Ryuuto decides to find his first Otomon before he attends the ceremony where he will receive his Kizuna Ishi. With his childhood friends, the kind-hearted Cheval and the ever-curious Lilia, and his frivolous partner Nabirou, Ryuuto heads deep into the forest. There, he miraculously meets a Rathalos!

The protagonist of the story. A cheerful young man bursting with energy who dreams of becoming the number one Rider in the world. With the ceremony to become a Rider ahead of him, he spends his days with his heart filled with excitement.

Nabirou

A slightly strange-looking Airou. Gets easily carried away and gives unreliable navigation. Lives with Ryuuto at his house in Hakumu Village.

Lilia

Voice Actor: Minami Takahashi

Lilia is a childhood friend of Ryuuto. She is cheerful with a strong sense of responsibility. She yearns greatly to know more about the outside world, and so she plans to learn as much as she can.

Cheval

Voice Actor: Ryouta Oosaka

Ryuuto’s childhood friend. Has a kind heart. He wants to become an upstanding rider and give his mother peace of mind.
