Synopsis

In the spring of her second year in high school, Naho receives a letter. The sender was herself, ten years in the future.

At first she believes it’s a prank, but everything that is written in it starts coming true, and she realises that the letter is telling her what is going to happen in the future.

That she will fall in love with the transfer student, Kakeru.

And that in his seventeenth summer, Takeru will pass away.

What can the 16-year-old Naho do, now that she has found out the 26-year-old Naho’s regrets and desires?

Three Episode Impression

Hot summer days seem to beg for romantic stories and Orange delivers just that and more: friendship, mystery, drama and a coming-of-age story are also part of the program. So far, the story has a good flow even though it can feel a bit slow since we are talking about a Slice of Life show. This also means that you should not expect any major action and rather look forward to lots of attention to detail and of course the overweighing mystery of Naho receiving letters from her future self. Overall, it is safe to say that fans of the manga won’t be disappointed while new viewers looking for Shoujo or Slice of Life shows should also be pleased.
