What You Need to Know:
- The title and air date for the upcoming One Piece film have been leaked from what was supposed to be announced in next week's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Titled One Piece Film Gold, the movie is set to be shown in theaters from July 23rd of next year.
- The author Oda Eiichiro will serve as the executive producer for the film. The director will be Hiroaki Miyamoto, notable for being an assistant director for one of the highest rated One Piece films, Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island.
- Although the synopsis hasn't been revealed, the title including the word "Gold" raises speculations that the movie will be somehow related to the former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.

Yes! I've been waiting for this! I absolutely loved Baron Omatsuri, it was one of the better One Piece movies that had a unique presentation by the director of the Digimon movies. Having the assistant director for the next movie is more than enough to keep my hopes up.
I want to see Luffy smash the enemy to pulp again! I wonder if the timeframe will be set before or after Dressrosa?
