So Much So Fast!

Nagareboshi

I am sorry to be talking about Boku no Hero Academia again this week… wait no I am not. This show ROCKS! This week was supposed to be all about Tenya-kun and for the most part it was. We see All Might and Midoriya get lectured by the nurse about how she will not keep fixing his body, so he needs to find a better way to use his powers. We also see Tenya start beating his opponents one by one by rushing them out of bounds. It seems like he is set to make it far when all of a sudden the matches start to get rushed?? Midoriya comes back just to see the status when he sees Tokoyami being beaten by Bakugo (Nooooo! Tokoyami is my other bby from this series) and then Tenya and Todoroki go head to head. To be honest, I was rather surprised when it appeared that Tenya was going to win. But as usual, Todoroki came through with the clutch and froze Tenya’s jets which means that as I expected a few weeks ago, Todoroki and Bakugo will go head to head. T

enya tries to reach his older brother and we get flashes of him chasing a villain… and then dying?! Possibly, but we need to see the next episode to confirm it as that is where it ends. However we do get to see that the Hero Killer is on the move and hunting for All Might. Then we FINALLY get that crucial piece of information to connect Kurogiri to season 1 and now. NOW, we have a new villain to be used by Kurogiri. This is going to be good. Popcorn anyone?

I don’t need two arms to kick your ass

With just one episode left to go until the second season is over, things are certainly heating up in Shingeki no Kyojin. After almost an entire season of flashbacks and character development, now it’s all action blazing with Eren’s capture and the corps trying to recover him. It feels like almost every scene in episode eleven was epic, so how am I supposed to pick just one hot moment?

If I have to narrow it down, it would have to be the scene in which Erwin has ordered everyone to lead the titans chasing them towards Reiner and crew, only for him to get one arm munched up by a titan himself. What made it so awesome is that he wasn’t even flustered, instead belting out the order for everyone to keep charging ahead. Of course, this is Erwin we’re talking about, so it’s not long before he (well, most of him) is back in the thick of it. What a badass.

Oh no, I hope Erwin will be okay??

Tsukuyo Inaba

Most harem anime are horribly cliche with so many repeating factors that it’s hard to find one that stands even a little above the rest if not for the sheer ridiculousness of it all. However, this week’s episode of Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism really surprised me with the inclusion of Tsukuyo Inaba, an adorable loli character (which ones aren’t in this anime?) who is more skilled than the rest and just as cocky, but who is also blind. That character type is almost never used unless it is to show off the skill of said character like the Blind Samurai in Samurai Champloo. Handicaps tend to be rare in anime unless used for a different purpose rather than for variety.

Still, Inaba’s lack of eyesight allows her to be seen as a skilfull swordswoman. She is quick and more adept than the other characters, however I was shocked to see that she also seems to worry about having friends and threatens/tricks girls into being her friend with her protection as a reward, which is strange. I don’t think this was well executed and I don’t know why this was put in at all, but Tsukuyo Inaba is a curious character indeed. I just think she’s interesting and deserves a shout out.

Go Tsukuyo Inaba! One not so generic harem character!

You stole Nino’s voice from me

Rod Locksley

Since the beginning, Fukumenkei Noise is an anime about war… a cold war between two guys who fight each other for a girl, and another dangerous war between a girl and her feelings; however, this ninth episode put Yuzu and Momo face to face, in a moment we all have been waiting for. Okay, Yuzu kissed Nino and that is always a big deal, but the way they both acted the next day was a rollercoaster of emotions, full of love, hate and lies. Seeing this, I was like “okay, we should talk about the aftermath of this!”, but guess what? Then we had this scene with Momo and Yuzu, and so we know NOW things are getting serious!

Momo knows Yuzu is In NO hurry to shout Cheshire, and Yuzu knows his “friend” Sakaki is actually the Momo guy Nino keeps talking about, but so far, all we had were vague ideas and speculation. Until, of course, one of the guys goes “you stole Nino’s voice from me” and things start to heat up. If you still don’t know what are the feelings inside any of this trio, don’t worry… most of us don’t know either, and reactions are always surprising. When —and how— will Nino realize what is going? How will she react? This is only getting better, and keep in mind that now this war is formally declared, and “all is fair in love and war”!
