- News has been spread across the Japanese internet that Robico's super-popular manga-turned-anime, Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun (My Little Monster), will be getting a live-action movie adaptation in 2018.
- Shou Tsukikawa (Kurosaki-kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai live-action move) will be directing the romcom, with Arisa Kaneko (Orange live-action movie) writing the script.
- The main cast has also been announced. Haru Yoshida will be played by Masaki Suda, with Tao Tsuchiya playing alongside him as Shizuku Mizutani. We'll be back with more information as it's released!
