This article, in particular, will be focusing on how lethal a character can be in the series. So without further ado, here’s a Top 10 Deadliest Hellsing Characters worth checking out on!

10. Rip Van Winkle

Starting off with number 10 on the list is Rip Van Winkle, a member of the Millennium organization. Having a musket as her weapon of choice, she can fire magic bullets that can trace targets and enemies by itself. In terms of personality, Rip Van Winkle is probably the most cheerful (in an evil way) character in the series thanks to her childish demeanor. This can be seen in episode 4 of the series, as she gleefully massacred newly turned ghouls in an attempt to hijack a ship.

With her abilities to be able to shoot at a very far distance and have her bullets trace its own target definitely earned her a spot in this list. However, she is extremely terrified of Alucard, making her the first commander of the Millennium to fear Alucard to such extent which is weird considering how cheerful her personality used to be.

9. Tubalcain Alhambra

Despite the confusing androgynous appearance, Zorin Blitz is actually a female character who is also the member of the Millennium Organizations. Her most distinctive appearance is her tattoos on her forehead and shoulders. Thanks to her unique abilities, she is considered to be the strongest out of her comrades Tubalcain Alhambra and Rip Van Winkle.

Zorin wields a large scythe, which she uses to cut enemies in half, in addition to that, Zorin also has the ability to cast an illusion to her enemies, making them trapped in a state where she could read the minds of them and show them their painful memories from the past. It was first seen in episode 6, where Zorin cast the illusion spell to appear as a gigantic version of herself to distract The Wild Geese so that his troops can advance into the Hellsing Mansion.

7. Heinkel Wolfe

Zooming into number 7 of the list is Heinkel Wolfe, a member of the Iscariot Organization. Working under the organization’s trump card, Alexander Anderson, Heinkel often partners up with Yumie or Yumiko Takagi when she goes on a mission. In episode 5 of the series, Heinkel was sent to capture Integra Hellsing, and successfully done so thanks to the help from her comrades. She can be seen wielding dual pistols in a way somewhat similar to how Alucard uses his pistols.

When Yumiko Takagi is killed by the rejuvenated Walter, Yumiko went nuts and swore to sought revenge over her killer. Despite already wounded by The Captain, Heinkel is persistent to keep pursuing Walter, eventually doing some damage to him. Even though it is unfortunate for Heinkel to be outmatched by Walter, nevertheless she deserves to be on the list due to her abilities and determination to kill without hesitation.

6. Incognito

Having derived from the same origins of being a vampire, Incognito and Alucard share a certain amount of respect to each other. Alucard was able to sense Incognito’s presence during his time in England and immediately felt interested as he found someone else that could match his powers. This made Incognito one of the few characters that Alucard respects for in terms of power, making him a must to appear in the list.

It was revealed that Incognito came from the Dark Continent, and is capable of using dark magic elements as his ability. Although Incognito was able to briefly destroy Alucard, he was still no match for him. This can be seen in episode 13 of the original Hellsing series, where Incognito came close to killing Alucard, but only to find out that Alucard was able to regenerate and outmatch him.

5. Seras Victoria

Seras Victoria is one of the main protagonist of the Hellsing series and a faithful comrade to Alucard. Seras was originally a human at first, but after a mission gone wrong, she was turned into a vampire by Alucard. She was then recruited by Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing to join the Hellsing Organization where she learned to utilize her vampire traits. Since then, she saw Alucard as a mentor figure, often addressing him as ‘Master’.

Due to her childish appearances and demeanor, Seras Victoria is not treated seriously at times. But she is a vampire nonetheless, and that gave her incredible abilities. One such case being Seras was able to carry massive weapons of high-caliber that no ordinary human being can carry. Not only that, she seemed to have acquired powers that are somewhat similar to those of Alucard’s. This can be seen in episode 7 of the series when Seras had her arm cut off by Zorin Blitz, but it was then replaced by a mass of shadowy matter similar to Alucard’s transformation. Not only that, Seras who was in a bloodlust, singlehandedly killed off Zorin by herself proving how deadly this character can be.

4. Walter C. Dornez

Next on number 4 of the list is Walter C. Dornez. Don’t let his old, polite, gentleman-like ways fool you, because Walter is more than just a mere butler. Being a former member of the Hellsing Organization, Walter is in charge of designing special custom-made weapons for Hellsing’s vampires, namely Seras Victoria and Alucard. He also served directly under the leader of said organization, Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing as the family retainer and butler.

It was revealed in the series that Walter uses a special kind of monomolecular wire in high-velocity that enables him to cut through anything that stands in his way. Thanks to his combat experience, he could easily slice off waves of the undead, earning him the nickname ‘Angel of Death’. With this being said, Walter, being only a human is considered one of the most deadly characters in the series.

3. The Captain

Counting down to number 3 on the list is The Captain. Just like his name, his outfit corresponds to what people call him. He appears to be in a green DAK (Deutsches Afrikakorps) Greatcoat with an M43 officer's cap. One particular trait of the way The Captain dresses is that he would have his neck guard turned upwards giving him a cold and conservative look. Adding mystery to his personality. The Captain is affiliated with the ‘Millenium’, a Nazi organization with the means to research and develop supernatural phenomena for military purposes.

The Captain was known to be a lycanthrope, who possess a unique ability to transform into a werewolf. As a result, this gave The Captain a wide variety of powers such as superhuman senses, speed, reflexes, and stamina making him a very dangerous character to mess with and a spot on the list. As seen in episode 10 of Hellsing Ultimate, The Captain was able to easily dodge Seras’ attacks with his lycanthropy powers.

2. Alexander Anderson

Swooping in the number 2 position of the list is Alexander Anderson, or commonly known as Father Anderson in the Hellsing series. Anderson works for the Iscariot Organization, an organization that serves under the Vatican and operated by the Roman Catholic Church. Although Iscariot Organization has an uncanny resemblance to the Hellsing Organization, being as both organization share a common goal to defeat any vampires or supernatural-related problems. But since the Hellsing actually works with vampires like Alucard and Seras Victoria, this made Iscariot a natural rival organization.

Alexander Anderson is a Vatican priest and carries around a bayonet as his signature weapon. Even though at times Anderson can be obsessive over his mission or crusade as he would use references from the bible or even quoting from it directly, he appears to incorporate that to his maniacal tendency for bloodlust. How Anderson makes use of his bayonets can be extremely lethal, and even Alucard respects him the most and acknowledges Alexander as his archrival.

1. Alucard

Ranking number 1 on the list is none other than one of the most popular iconic character of the series, Alucard. Who wouldn’t recognize his signature red overcoat with a cape, red fedora, white gloves, and heavily tinted orange sunglasses? While having this distinctive appearance, Alucard is also well-known for his strengths and abilities. Alucard is a vampire who works for the Hellsing Organization and is known for being the most powerful weapon in defeating other vampires or supernatural forces.

Due to his incredible strengths, Alucard can be cocky when facing his enemies. This can be seen as often times Alucard purposely lets himself being destroyed or blown to bits, before regenerating in front of his enemies and begins his counterattack. Perhaps it’s because the way how Alucard perceives the challenges that his enemies bring to his face the reason why many of Alucard’s adversaries looked down on him. To him, these challenges are merely entertainment. That’s how powerful Alucard is and why he deserves to be number 1 on this list.
